AeroHub is a free, community-run catalog of add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and X-Plane 12. This page explains, in plain language, what happens (and mostly what does not happen) with your information when you use the site.

No accounts, nothing to sign up for

AeroHub does not have user accounts. There is no sign-up, no sign-in for visitors, and nothing tied to your identity is ever created or stored. Since there is no account, there is also nothing to delete: you are never asked for a username, an email address or a password to browse or download.

We do not collect your personal data

AeroHub does not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information from visitors. The site does not run analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts or advertising of any kind. Nothing about you is sold, shared or handed to advertisers, because nothing like that is collected in the first place.

Cookies

Browsing AeroHub does not set any cookie. Your choice of light or dark theme is remembered only in your own browser (local storage), never sent to our server. The only cookie the site can set is a session cookie for the site's own administrator when signing in to the admin area; regular visitors never receive one.

Basic security logs

Like most web servers, ours briefly processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type while handling each request, purely to keep the site running reliably and to slow down abuse (for example, limiting repeated failed sign-in attempts on the admin page). This is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not linked to any personal identity.

Downloads happen on other websites

AeroHub does not host, store or serve any add-on files directly. Every download button on the site opens the original creator's or host's own website in a new tab, and the file is downloaded from there, not from AeroHub. Those third-party sites are outside our control and have their own privacy practices and terms, which we'd encourage you to check before downloading.

Infrastructure we rely on

AeroHub is built on top of a small number of outside services to function: a database to store the add-on catalog itself, and an image host to store cover pictures. These services process the catalog's content, not information about who is visiting the site.

Children's privacy

AeroHub does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect visitor information at all.

Changes to this page

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this same page with a new "last updated" date above. Continuing to use AeroHub after a change means you accept the updated version.
